  • Mold temperature: The mold temperature during preheating and curing should be 35~40℃. If the temperature is too high, the reaction will be too fast, easy to overflow, and cracks will occur on the bottom surface, which will produce “pits” during molding; if the mold temperature is too low, Poor reaction, insufficient foaming, and thickening of the skin.

  • The total pouring amount is inappropriate. Generally, the milky white period of the raw material is about 8-10 seconds, and the pouring time should not exceed 5 seconds, otherwise it will affect the filling and reaction of the mixture in the cavity.

  • Mixing ratio error: It is not adjusted to the best position of the center formula. When the metering pump conveys or the mixing device is changed, the metering error may exceed the allowable range of the center formula.

  • The material temperature changes too much: especially when the two components are different, the temperature of the newly added stock solution is higher, and the material temperature difference is too large, resulting in a ratio error.

  • The demolding time is too early or the C material (catalyst) is insufficient: the mixture has not completely reacted and initially solidified in the mold, at this time, the demolding may produce cracks or broken sole.
